BUSINESS DESCRIPTION Preferred Living was founded in 1981 and is the recognized leader in short-term corporate apartments in the United States. What is the difference between Preferred Living and a Hotel?We utilize the BEST accommodations available in the community you ask us to research for you. Depending on the availability, this may be an apartment, condo or co-op. Many complexes provide play areas for children, pools, health clubs, laundry facilities, and are pet friendly. Just "bring your luggage and your first bag of groceries" and you'll be all set to enjoy your new "home away from home." Our clients include businesses of all kinds and sizes, professional entertainers and sports teams, senior citizens, vacationers, the military and government, and even more. LOCATIONS I CAN REQUESTPreferred Living provides executive-level apartments most anywhere in the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. We offer a broad range of accommodations, depending upon the community in which you need to stay. Your experience may be a condo in the heart of Boston's Back Bay, a high-rise co-op in the Greater New York/New Jersey area, a winter home in Orlando, or an apartment in San Jose. AMENITIES Your Preferred Living apartment will feature one or more bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and large bathrooms, laundries, pools and health facilities. They are furnished with bed and bath linens, kitchenware, including Microwave, furniture, utilities, telephone with answering equipment, TV, VCR and cable service, parking and MORE! Floor plans are available; you will find yourself in accommodations that are more comfortable than the average luxury hotel. While most hotels do not accept pets, many of our apartment complexes are pet-friendly. We will need to know in advance of your plan to bring this family member with you . . . what kind of pet, breed, size and weight. Generally there will be a non-refundable pet fee, and occasionally "pet rent" will be additional. RESERVATIONS We book most accommodations based on a 30-day (or more) stay, which can begin on whatever date is convenient for you. We're flexible! We can email or fax all pertinent documents to you. You can also send us the pre-reservation form directly from our website to make reservations. ACCOUNTING Once we know where you want to be and when, we will locate an apartment, -- maybe two or three for you to consider. We will put together a "package" just for you containing utilities, local telephone and cable TV. The only additional charges are for any additional items you may have ordered after your lease was signed, any utility overages or phone charges other than local calls. Weekly housekeeping service is optional. You will be quoted one price for the entire package before determining which apartment best fits your requirements. We bill monthly per 30-day period. If you opt to pay by credit card, we will automatically charge your account at the beginning of each period and invoice you accordingly. Should there be any additional charges, such as long distance or any special services, furniture or equipment, the costs will be billed to you additionally, with receipts attached for your records. ![]() We accept American Express, VISA, MasterCard or Diners Club credit cards. Your credit card will be used to guarantee payment. We will require a copy of your valid credit card with expiration date on it when your reservation is requested. Once your company has established credit with Preferred Living, we will be happy to bill them directly for you. If your company chooses, we will provide the necessary banking information so they can make automatic electronic payments for all charges. |
